[Haul 2#] Sasa & Beautybay.com!

Hello everyone, it has been a while since my last haul post. I don't actually tend to buy make up or cosmetics all that often, so these hauls will be at most, once every month or so. I also do have a tendency to lean towards more skin care based products, which is why you'll be seeing them more often ^_^" Without further ado, let's begin with the purchases!

From Left to Right: Juju Aquamoist Foaming Cleanser, My Beauty Diary Japanese Cherry Blossom Sheet Masks (10 Pack).

Juju Aquamoist Foaming Cleanser: I absolutely love this facial cleanser guys, and this is my second repurchase of it. It is perfect for my dry skin, but in all honesty I think it'd be great for all skin types. It's so amazingly gentle, and always leaves my skin looking so much more hydrated and refreshed. I like the pump and foam formula since it's so easy to use and hygienic. It is perfect for an everyday cleanser since it does not leave the skin feeling stripped of it's natural oils. Not to mention the fact that it very affordable, and lasts a long time. A definite must in my skin care routine!

My Beauty Diary Cherry Blossom Sheet Mask: My experience with My Beauty Diary sheet masks so far have been pretty good, and this is my second sheet mask pack that I've purchased from them. The first was the Strawberry Sheet Mask, which I really liked. The packaging of this was so pretty, and I'm an absolute sucker for cherry blossoms - so of course, I had to try it out next. I will let you guys know what my thoughts on it are!

From Left to Right: Suisse Programme Free Sample, Laneige Multiberry Yoghurt Peeling Gel (120mL), Laneige Multiberry Yoghurt Repair Pack (80mL), Laneige Water Sleeping Pack (80mL), Dolly Wink Pencil Sharpener.

If you guys can't tell, then I'm quite a fan/lover of Laneige skin care products! I have yet to have a bad experience with any of them, and I do have to say that I have a lot of favourite skin care products from this brand.

Laneige Multiberry Yoghurt Peeling Gel: I have used this once so far, and I do have to say that I really like it. It's an exfoliator, but a lot more gentle than the ones I've used before (St. Ives Apricot Scrub). The micro beads are very small and fine, and is great for people with sensitive skin. It does not feel abrasive whatsoever, in comparison to the St. Ives one, which can be quite irritating on the skin at times. Not to mention the fact that it smells great!

Laneige Multiberry Yoghurt Repair Pack: I bought this together with the Peeling Gel, since they're suppose to work in conjunction with one another. After exfoliating/cleansing, I apply a thin layer of this stuff, and leave it on for around 20-30mins. I noticed that my skin was noticeably brighter and smoother. Definitely a great product, when used together with the Peeling Gel!

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack: I've already done a review of this product, which I will link here. I won't ramble on about how amazing it is, since I already have in a previous post :) I actually purchased this one for my mum to try, so it sadly wasn't for me this time round ^_^"

Dolly Wink Pencil Sharpener: I was quite intrigued by this sharpener, so I decided to purchase it. It claims to give you a "perfect point" and the packaging was just oh so cute, I simply couldn't resist. It has a little peep hole at the top which allows you to see how much of your eyeliner you have sharpened. I do have to say I'm not impressed so far, as my Dolly Wink Pencil Liner broke twice when using this. I don't want to say this is a bad product, so I'll continue using it and see how that goes.

From Left to Right: Urban Decay Primer Potion (Full Size), Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.

Oh, the famous and highly raved about Urban Decay products. I live in Australia, so these were quite difficult to get a hold of. After a friend's suggestion, I decided to give beautybay.com a whirl. I do have to say that the site isn't half bad, since it does allow free shipping worldwide. The prices are decent, and the postage of the product is quite fast. However, it took me literally a month to receive my package, but I can't complain since it was free shipping after all.

The package it came in was neatly sealed, which I liked. I have been wanting to try the Urban Decay Primer Potion since forever, because I have monolids and every single eyeliner smudges on me - even the most raved about ones! We shall see if it lives up to its reputation, hm? I had trouble deciding between the Naked Palette and the Naked 2 Palette since they're both so similar and have great reviews.

I eventually decided on the Naked 2 since the colours are more subtle and toned down. I don't think I suit heavier eye-shadow, or smoky eyes since it looks as though I just got punched haha. Or maybe it's just me?

But yeah, that brings us to the end of my July Haul :) :)  Please let me know if you guys like reading these, or would like to see more hauls in future. I will be reviewing all of these products individually in future, so be on the look out for them!

[Haul #1] Sasa

Hey everyone, it really has been a while! It's been over a month since I last updated this blog, and recently my package from Sasa came in the mail - so I thought, why not do a haul post? It's a little different from what I usually write, so please tell me if you guys like these as well ^_^

I absolutely love shopping at Sasa since the prices are just so cheap, and it includes a huge range of Asian Cosmetics (almost every big brand name is included :D) They also have discount/sales pretty often, and the customer service/shipping is quite reasonable and fast.

Sasa is huge in Hong Kong, and it has quite a good reputation - so there's no need to worry about its authenticity. I live in Australia, which makes buying asian cosmetics a real pain (or any make up in general since the prices are so incredibly high!) But they do ship here quite fast, which I like.

They also offer free shipping if you spend above $75 and express shipping above $150. It's pretty easy to go hauling on Sasa though, so it's actually not that difficult reaching $75 ^_^" This is probably both a good and bad thing.

I'll stop my rambling now, and let's get on with the haul :)

From Left to Right: Dolly Wink Pencil Liner (Brown), Mac Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel (Dip Down), Dolly Wink Eyelash Fix, LED Mirror Leopard Print (Free Gift).

Dolly Wink Pencil Liner (Brown): I'm quite a fan of dolly wink eye products, since not only does it have the cutest packaging - they work really, really well. I absolutely love the dolly wink pencil liner in black (it's the only one I use for my waterline) so when I saw they had brown in stock, I just had to purchase it.

It glides on very smoothly, doesn't tug, and it's very pigmented - a definite HG.

Mac Fluidline: I've heard a lot of good things about this eye liner (since I struggle finding an eyeliner that will stay on my oily, monolid eyes). This is actually my first MAC product, since they're so unreasonably overpriced and hard to find here in Australia. Sasa was out of the black, so I decided on the brown -since I don't have any brown eye liners.

I also chose the brown since I read in a review that it actually comes out quite dark. This was actually a little random purchase of mine, since I originally didn't intend to buy it. ^_^

Dolly Wink Eye Lash Fix: I was running out of eyelash glue, so I decided on the Dolly Wink since I've had good purchases from the company so far. We'll see how this goes, along with the MAC Gel Liner.

LED Mirror: I thought this mirror was just so cute, since it's leopard print as well. I redeemed it using my bonus points on Sasa (since they were going to expire). But the best thing about it is that it has LED lights (they're the little dots on the top mirror).

I just thought it was very cool, and a pretty nice free gift.

From Left to Right: My Beauty Diary: Strawberry Amino Acid Cleanser, Juju Aquamoist Vitamin C Cream (50g), Juju Aquamoist Vitamin C Toner (180mL), Cosline Tomato Fresh Pack (170ml)

My Beauty Diary Cleanser: I love My Beauty Diary sheet masks, and the packaging was just adorable for this cleanser - so I decided to try it. It's supposedly very gentle for the skin (which I like), and reminds me of an ice cream tub. Also anything with strawberries in it automatically wins me over ^_^

Juju Aquamoist Vitamin C Cream: I've used the aloe vera toner/moisturiser in the Aquamoist line before, and I absolutely loved them. They were just so moisturising, and perfect for my normal-dry skin. After hearing rave reviews about this, I decided to pick some up for myself.

Juju Aquamoist Vitamin C Toner: I was in need of a new toner, since my Biore Triple Action Toner dried out my skin so badly (I will be posting a review of this soon). I tried this out the other day and it feels quite moisturising, but I can't really give a full review yet :)

Cosline Tomato Pack: I've actually been waiting for this product to come in stock since forever ago (because of all the positive reviews). I absolutely love facial masks (more than any other beauty product) and this was definitely a great substitute for my natural tomato mask. It's pretty messy/tiring to constantly be chopping/mashing up tomatos.

I used this the other day, and I have to say it really lived up to my expectations. My skin looked brighter, and felt so much softer - definitely a great product!

Essential: Ultra Honey & Shea Butter Hair Mask "Nuance Airy"

Essential Hair Mask: I decided to pick up this litte baby since I've tried their other hair mask (the orange one) and absolutely loved it! It is the most amazing hair product ever, especially for my super dyed/damaged hair. I'm running quite low on my other one, so I decided to give this a try.

It's pink, and very cute - so I'm quite excited to try this out ^_^

That concludes my Sasa Haul, and I ended up buying so much more products than I originally intended ^_^" I hope that you guys enjoy, and I'll probably be posting more of these in future.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I will be reviewing all of these products separately some time in the future, and will get round to them eventually. I just want to use them a little longer to get the "gist" of it.

[Review] Laneige Water Sleeping Pack

I absolutely love facial masks, and I can honestly say I'm quite the addict. I really do prefer them over sheet masks, because they're just so inexpensive. Whilst sheet masks over time can drill a rather large hole in my pocket, I feel that facial masks just last so much longer. The only downside to using them so often is that sometimes, I just don't have the time to sit back and relax.

On most days I actually don't have the luxury of pampering myself, and before I even know it - it'll be time for bed. All I have time for is my usual skin care routine, before heading off to sleep ^_^" And so, I was really interested after hearing about the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack, since it just sounded so incredibly convenient!

I mean, it's a hydrating mask that you put on before you sleep - then BAM! You "supposedly" have plump, moisturised and ready-to-go skin the next morning. I was pretty much sold. There were just so many reviews raving on and on about this product, so I definitely had to try it out for myself.

It was the first product that I had purchased from Laneige, and I'm really quite impressed.

First Impression: I originally purchased mine from sasa, and I do have to warn you guys that this product is often out of stock since it's so popular! When I first saw the packaging, I was absolutely in love with it. The box was just so adorable and pretty, and I absolutely love the shade of blue. The container itself felt very sturdy, and of rather good quality. It came with a small scoop (with the Laneige logo) and instructions on how to apply it.

It had a really liquidy consistency when I tried it on the back of my hand, and to my surprise - it didn't feel sticky at all. In fact, it only took a couple of seconds before it was completely absorbed into my hand! I was quite amazed already, so after doing my usual skin care routine - I put on a very small amount, and went to bed.

The next morning, I was super impressed with the results.

What I Like:

As I stated before, I absolutely loved the packaging! I'm a total sucker for companies that put that little extra mile into their product's presentation. Most of the time, it'll definitely give me an extra reason to purchase it.

+ The consistency was very smooth, light and barely there. All you needed was to apply the smallest amount, since a little really does go a long way. It felt so soothing on the skin as I applied it on my face, and I could already feel my skin being moisturised.

+ It doesn't leave a sticky feeling whatsoever. In fact, it feels like you have nothing at all once your skin absorbs all the product.

+ When I woke up the next morning, my skin just looked so much healthier. It looked brighter, softer and definitely very plump and moisturised.

What I Dislike:

+ Although they did take into consideration the "hygiene" factor by including a scoop, I just find it rather impractical if it becomes a product that you use daily. After a while using the scoop does feel very tedious, and it's super time consuming. But at the same time, continually dipping my fingers into the product = not very good hygiene :/

Overall Opinion: To be honest, I really can understand why this product got such fabulous reviews in the first place. It does everything it says it's suppose to do, and although I had really high hopes for this product - I surprisingly wasn't disappointed at all. For such a great quality product, the price really isn't so bad at all. It is definitely one of my holy grail products and something that is just one of my favourite "on the go" items that I always reach for. I really recommend using it for travelling, since it's just so compact and hydrating (since travelling severely dehydrates your skin).

Even after a long day, all you need to do is wash off your make up, do your usual skin care routine and add some of this little baby - and you'll be all set for beautiful, glowing skin the next day :)

Would I Repurchase? For sure!
